I'm currently reading a fantasy romance series called The Path of Temptation. It's set in a temple dedicated to the god of temptation and follows a girl who grows up to become a priestess of the body, which is basically a full service sex worker who tempts people for her god. It's interesting to think what sex work would be like if it was respected and workers had the support of an entire temple behind them. It takes away many of the aspects I didn't like.
