I was making breakfast and remembered another interesting story 😅

It all started when my kids announced their school was hosting a bake sale. Naturally, I felt compelled to contribute, channeling my inner domestic goddess!

With visions of beautiful cupcakes and cookies dancing in my head, I decided to go all out. I gathered my ingredients, donned my favorite apron, and got to work. I mean, how hard could it be, right?

Fast forward to the moment of truth! I was whipping up a batch of cookies when I suddenly realized I was out of sugar. No big deal, I thought. I can improvise! A quick search of the pantry led me to a mysterious jar labeled “SUGAR SUBSTITUTE.” I figured it must be just what I needed.

Little did I know, my ‘sugar substitute’ was actually a jar of salt! But, in my baking frenzy, I tossed a generous amount into the mix, convinced it would add a “unique flavor.”

After baking, I pulled out what I thought would be delightful cookies—only to be greeted by a tray of what looked like rock-hard salt cakes! Not one to waste time, I took a bite, and let’s just say my taste buds were in shock. I quickly decided to call it “Gourmet Cookies” and packed them up for the bake sale anyway.
