Today marks one year since I overdosed and wound up on a respirator for a week in the ICU.
What I want you to know is no matter how vocal or transparent I am about mental health, I am still a warrior myself. I face battles with intense mania and depression as well as living with a mixed state which is equally as difficult. My point is, you’re never alone. I could come on here and tell you to do this or that and it’ll make you feel better but when it comes down to it, your mental health is unique to you and you don’t need to explain yourself to anyone or EVER feel like you are making excuses.
A year ago, I almost lost my life. Since then, life has been cruel to me and wonderful to me. It’s life. God wants me around and he wants you around too. So stay strong because you are a #WARRIOR. 🤍🤘🏻•
